Color Couture: Coral--

Coral is the color of the season-- For those of you who are a a big scared of standing out in a such a bright color, a great way to tone this fabulous color down is to mix it with a white or neutral color. For example, a white dress would look fabulous with a necklace like the "Oscar de la Renta Bib necklace" below and  pair of coral wedges like the Dolce Vita's or even the Old Navy sandals pictured below :). A coral dress looks so classy with a pair of neutral wedges or heels.

The Wide Leg Pant--

Yay!...The wide leg pant is back! This pant style is very slimming and flattering to many body types. It elongates your legs and makes you look taller. The wide leg pant is great  for nights out on the town but also for everyday...job interviews, meetings and even a lunch outing with the girls :) They look super cute a form fitting blouse tucked in or with a short trench coat and some platform heels or wedges!

Stripes this year are going to be a definite must-have for the Spring. From striped shoes, bags, and jewelry to clothing they will be seen in every color. Color and width variations of stripes creates a whole new dimension in the outfit. Combining the stripes with other prints of the same color palette are also so so fun! I am a such a huge fan of the preppy nautical stripes for the Spring! The Beach Sexy Nautical swimsuit from Victoria's Secret will definitely become part of my swimsuit wardrobe before Spring Break :)!

Resort Chic 2011--

When I ask myself what to pack on unplanned trip to the paradise island of Puerto Rico to visit my grandmother, who has been sick for awhile, I look at my closet and say to myself "oh lord." The first thing that comes to my mind is swimsuits, cover-ups, printed dresses, a pair of wedges and of course some bold necklaces and bangles. Bold jewelry always makes up an outfit :)! Nude nail polish is total hit this spring-- from pastel blues and purples to pinks and ivories. Bright bold colored dresses are in this season along with the bright patterned flowy tops and dresses.
